Hi Babak:

Try using the UYOK functionality in 3.6.3 - assuming your imageserver has the same (or similar) hardware as your image nodes, do the following on the server:

# si_prepareclient --norsyncd

This will generate a working kernel/initrd.img for your image nodes, it should reside in /etc/systemimager/boot.  Now copy these files to the location where it can be retrieved via tftp and you should be good to go.

You'll need the systemimager-<arch>initrd_template RPM for this to work.

Cheers,

Bernard

Subject: [Sisuite-users] restore problem on HS20 blade; si 3.6.3

I have installed systemimager-3.6.3 on hs20 blade servers. creating images looks OK but when trying to restore, the client machine fails on earlier stages to partition the SCSI drives, it seems that the /dev/sdx are not detected after PXE boot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Best regards
