I just installed systemimager on my debian 3.1 machine
After several tries, I was able to get it to create an image from a XANDROS OCE computer.

However, the program quits with an error

getimage: Cannot create rsync stub entry in '/etc/systemimager/rsync_stubs'; at /usr/sbin/getimage line 427, <STDIN> line 2.

the image exists on the proper directory and appears to be intact.

However NOTHING seems to work for me to create the ability to make any type of installation script, as the program continues to complain that variables do not exist:

I have the conf files in my etc/systemimager/

I downloaded and installed mkrecoveryISO

and it complains loudly:

default_image_dir: no such variable at /etc/systemimager/systemimager.conf line 3 rsync_stub_dir: no such variable at /etc/systemimager/systemimager.conf line 7
tftp_dir: no such variable at /etc/systemimager/systemimager.conf line 8
net_boot_default: no such variable at /etc/systemimager/systemimager.conf line 9 Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/sbin/mkrecoveryISO line 380.
You must create directory .BZ2

Those variables ALL exist and appear valid, I even added quotes, then lowercased them, but nothing seems to work. I even set the chmod to 777 and still nothing works.

I am lost and frustrated, please indicate, if possible, where I lost it......

Thanks,

Bob
