On the golden image node, run "si_prepareclient" and it'll generate a kernel/initrd.img in /etc/systemimager/boot which you can use to network boot. That should work with your hardware. Also, if you can let us know which specific module is needed for that adapter, we can update trunk to support it (we are using kernel 2.6.16.4).
