Greetings everyone,
I want to ask a silly question, so forgive me in advance: has anyone tried
to perform an si_updateclient to an image stored on the same machine?
For example, let's say I save an image IMAGE on the image server SERVER. I
then install this image on a disk for machine CLIENT. In addition, I create
a new partition on CLIENT where I store a copy of IMAGE. Off course, I
enable systemimager as a service on CLIENT, with the IMAGE image available
(ideally this service is enabled as part of IMAGE itself...)
As time goes on, changes are made to CLIENT. I then want to revert back to
the original state, but I no longer have access to SERVER. Can I then
theoretically execute the command "si_updateclient -server CLIENT -image
IMAGE" ?
Thanks in advance!
Jamal
