I would recommend using a newer version of SystemImager (with newer kernel version) and see if it works. Alternatively, newer version's si_prepareclient uses UseYourOwnKernel which allows you to generate a working kernel/initrd.img from your running OS, what that means is as long as your OS supports the hardware, then it'll work when you image the client.
