This happens more so when you use the golden kernel in /etc/systemimager/boot, which is made by si_prepareclient. One solutionis to live with it and just make the ramdisk big enough (via a --append option to si_mkautiinstallcd).
Oh, you are making an autoinstalldiskette!!
