As I undertand it (and I haven't run the PXE boot method yet) the issue is
that the box being imaged has to get all of it's information from the DHCP
and BOOTP server. So that means it will either default to the DHCP server
since that's the only thing it can find or the DHCP server will have to
tell it where to go for the Image Server. There are a couple of special
options that you can set on the DHCP server to support the use of a
different Image Server. Look for a file called
README.SystemImager_DHCP_options. (From the svn server at
http://svn.systemimager.org/filedetails.php?repname=systemimager&path=%2Ftrunk%2FREADME.SystemImager_DHCP_options&rev=0&sc=0)

>From the file:
See http://www.iana.org/assignments/bootp-dhcp-parameters for details on
DHCP
options. The following are special DHCP options used by
SystemImager.    option-140  ->  IMAGESERVER    option-141  ->
LOG_SERVER_PORT    option-142  ->  SSH_DOWNLOAD_URL    option-143  ->
FLAMETHROWER_DIRECTORY_PORTBASE    option-144  ->  TMPFS_STAGING

Hopefully that will help some and then you can probably look at the OSCAR
documentation for further details on setting up the servers and automating
installation.
