Are you using a 2.4 kernel, right? in this case this is a known problem. It will be fixed in 3.7.4, to be released soon (maybe the next week). In the while if you want to do a test you can try with my last RPM builds, available from here (if you're using SuSE):
http://download.systemimager.org/~arighi/systemimager/ If you're using RH/fedora and/or you have an x86_64 arch try with Bernard's RPMs: http://www.bcgsc.ca/downloads/oscar/systemimager/ I have my own RH RPMs here, but I've not tested them: http://download.systemimager.org/~arighi/systemimager-redhat/ Regards, -Andrea Ron Arnett wrote: > I have two dell 1750’s. the server has redhat centos the golden > client redhat 9, both systems have scsi disks, > > Iam using 3.7.3-1 > > I get the image ok when installing a new image I get a message that > says kernel requires old insmod but couldn’t run > > Insmod .old. > > > > Any suggestions would be appreciated,. > > Thanks > > Ron ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
