Hi Dieter:

SystemImager 3.6.3 should be in Debian unstable or even testing, that is
a bit more recent than 3.6.2.

Concerning the mount /dev issue, assuming you have a file called
/etc/systemimager/autoinstallscript.conf in your image directory
(/var/lib/systemimager/images/<image_name>), do you have a line which
reads:

        <boel devstyle="devfs" />

?
