Hey Bernard, Upgrading grub is the solution I'm using for now, but I'm still concerned that this issue occurs, and I'd rather not force my users to upgrade grub if possible. I plan to add some more debugging print to the kernel and investigate more next week, hopefully I'll get this figured out.
