As you prefer, is the error similar to the previous you posted? In the
previous the problem seems to be the following:

scsi_serial.c:33:67: error: linux/compiler.h: No such file or directory

Do you have kernel-headers installed? Can you find that file in:

/usr/src/linux/include/linux/compiler.h
/usr/include/linux/compiler.h
