Can't help you with your issue, however there are 2 ways to get input.
One is setup a syslog server and enable it for remote events (linux
add -r as a startup option, either in /etc/init.d/syslog or
/etc/sysconfig/syslog.

Then make sure to enable this in your systemimager.conf file.

Another method if you have a serial console hookedup (Terminal server
or other), you can add  console=ttyS0,9600 to your pxeboot
configuration under /tftpboot/pxeboot.cfg/<default> *Whatever your
using to assign the kernel, initrd etc.

i'm not 100% sure how to get the console and serial to work since the
above seems to send everything to serial after the initrd/kernel are
loaded.

i've tried with the console=ttyS0,9600, tty0    <-- this seems to
ignore the tty0 (er monitor/console)..

Let us know if you get the logging going, then you can show the list
the entire output..
