Hi.. I have a very dumb question :s
I'm on a Linux OpenSuSE Enterprise Server 10 and trying to use systemimager to make a 'ghost' or image, of my system (I'm used to the ghosting tool used for Windows). I found all the RPM's given in http://download.systemimager.org/pub/sis-install/tags/stable.list and installed each of these by doing: rpm -ivh blabla.rpm I no longer get dependency errors and everything seems to be installed (I think??) Is there something else I need to do?? I can't find where these were installed even if I do a grep etc.. Maybe they were not installed?? Also - in the Quick Start HOWTO document it sounds like I can only make an image on one computer (ie the golden client), and copy the image on a different computer and it sounds like these computers have to be connected. What if i jsut want to make an image of my computer and then overwrite the same computer's current setup with this image? (Similar to ghosting on windows?) Is this possible? Thank you kindly in advance for all your help, -P _________________________________________________________________ With tax season right around the corner, make sure to follow these few simple tips. http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Taxes/PreparationTips/PreparationTips.aspx?icid=HMFebtagline ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
