a make distclean and re-run the make deb.

I don't know if this is the best way to do that, but the tar in the tmp
directory is made to be sure to start the packaging from a clean source
repository, I mean, to be sure that all and only the files that belong to the
source repository will generate the packages.

So, to resolve in your case you should:

1) remove the tarball in the tmp directory (or better remove the tmp directory)
2) run "make deb" again

Probably there's a better way to do this... dunno...
