I did see the code but I do not know how to install the patch.
To me it looks like it was the result of a diff between 2 file versions.

Probably it's gzipped... try with:
zcat /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.el5xen | strings | grep 2\.6
And try again with my patch, I'm quite sure it can resolve.
