Tried and it's been running for 2 hours or so. Thinking maybe it's better to image as single disk, than run the software mdadm commands during post-install. Would be helpful to see a software raid "autoinstallscript.conf" or a master script from a goldenclient using linux software raid. Still beating on this :) Going to do another normal image to make sure I don't have issues elsewhere (and thus the length of time), if a standard image finishes in normal time than i know it's in the software raid config.
