I'm trying to deploy a Fedora Core 9 image onto a host.
Both the server the image came from and the host I'm deploying to
are exactly the same, some hardware etc.
However during the autoinstall process I get "Partition does not end
on cylinder boundary" when parted tries to partition /dev/sda
Now I've read some posts in the mailing list from people with the
same issue but can't find any real solution to this problem. I know
its something to do with the original disks being partitioned by
fdisk but I don't know how to fix the problem.
I'm not an expert on disk geometry and how the programs partition
the disks, so please bear that in mind when replying. All I need to
know is if this problem is recoverable by maybe editing my master
autoinstall script, at the part where the disks are partitioned by
parted. And if so does anyone have any examples/advice on how to do
this.
Thanks in advance.
Tony
