elegant, powerful

The framework is responsible

all in a

-This release is intended to consolidate the
-codebase previously released as Betwixt-1.0-Alpha-1. It is recommended that those
-users who are currently using that release or later snapshots (of this codebase)
-upgrade to this version. Note that those users currently using a snapshot
-from the refactoring branch should wait until the 0.6 version is released.
-</p>
-<p>
-A new release and versioning strategy for Betwixt has been adopted. The version name
-0.5 more accurately reflects the current state of the released codebase.
-It is stable but limited and important elements of the API are likely to change in
the
-future. More frequent releases are now planning and a 0.6 release containing the
-improved bean reading design is planned for the near future.

+This version fixes error recovery in Load-Balancing, use new AJP protocol features
CPING/CPONG
+to avoid problems with a hang/stopped Tomcat, make use of no-jk env var in Apache
2.0 version
+to exclude some URIs to be handled by JK.
+</p>
+<p>

+<h3>03 July 2004 - HiveMind 1.0-beta-1 Released</h3>
+</a>
+
+<p>
+ The first beta release of the <a
href="http://jakarta.apache.org/hivemind/">HiveMind</a>
+ services and configuration microkernel is now available. HiveMind is a simple,
elegant, powerful
+ general-purpose infrastructure for Java applications. It allows you to structure
your application
+ in terms of services (as Plain Old Java Objects) and related configuration data.
The framework is responsible
+ for instantiating service objects, connecting services to each other, and does it
all in a
+ just-in-time thread-safe manner. HiveMind features the same great line precise
error reporting features as
+ <a href="http://jakarta.apache.org/tapestry/">Tapestry</a>. HiveMind helps you
build more complex, more robust, most
+ performant applications while writing less code!
+</p>
+
+<p>
+ HiveMind is available as a <a

binary/source release</a>.

+<h3>03 July - Commons Betwixt 0.5 Released</h3>
+</a>
+<p>
+The <a href='http://jakarta.apache.org/commons'>Jakarta Commons</a> team is pleased
+to announce the release of Betwixt 0.5. Both
+<a href='http://jakarta.apache.org/site/binindex.cgi#commons-betwixt'>binary</a> and
+<a href='http://jakarta.apache.org/site/sourceindex.cgi#commons-betwixt'>source</a>
distributions
+are now available.
+</p>
+<p>
+<a href='http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/betwixt/'>Betwixt</a> is a dynamic
+start-from-java xml-object mapper.
+</p>
+<p>
+This release is intended to consolidate the
+codebase previously released as Betwixt-1.0-Alpha-1. It is recommended that those
+users who are currently using that release or later snapshots (of this codebase)
+upgrade to this version. Note that those users currently using a snapshot
+from the refactoring branch should wait until the 0.6 version is released.
+</p>
+<p>
+A new release and versioning strategy for Betwixt has been adopted. The version name
+0.5 more accurately reflects the current state of the released codebase.
+It is stable but limited and important elements of the API are likely to change in
the
+future. More frequent releases are now planning and a 0.6 release containing the
+improved bean reading design is planned for the near future.
