Hello all,

I have been using Plucker (version 1.0) to grab news online to read on my
Palm. I just installed SiteScooper and wanted to try it out.

I followed the instruction in the documentation, set Perl (ActivePerl
5.6.0.620) to run the sitescooper.pl (3.0.1) script.

The script seems to fetch all the sites I've selected successfully, but it
doesn't like converting the file into plucker format. It complains it
can't find a program/script called "plucker-build".

Looking through Plucker's source code distribution I found plucker-build's
man page, seems like it is a *nix only utility. Is that true? I am using
Win98 machine, is there a "subsitute" program for plucker-build or can I
compile that myself with some compiler?

I've attached an error message below

"Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) at
C:/down/Palm/sitescooper-3.0.
1/lib/Scoop.pm line 1991.
Running: plucker-build -f 2000_12_07_Suck.com -N "2000-Dec-07:
Suck.com" -H
"file:C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\sitescooper_0\txt\2000_12_07_Suck.com\2000_12_07_Suck.com.h
tml" -M 0
Bad command or file name"

Help please..

Thanks.

Henry
