Thanks, I was eager to move on from the dead tree format of the Radio Times
(and also to prove to my wife who bought me a Palm m100 for Xmas that she
hadn't wasted her money!)

Wow! I have just taken a look at PVS SnapStream and it looks *very*
promising as a TiVo-type tool - and it appears to be freeware! (don't you
just require a card like WinTV for about �40?). I lost interest in TiVo at
an early stage when I heard you had to buy the hardware (which I probably
have in other forms already) and it requires subscription (which i object to
on general principle!)

I have just taken a look - most interesting! I see that the BBC objected ;o)
- I guess the same would apply to ananova - best keep it quiet, eh!

I intend to get involved with sitescooper asap. I'm just getting to grips
with plucker (downloaded this morning) in preference to iSilo (I always
prefer the open-source solution).
