Thanks for the quick posting. I tried your method for scooping the New
York Times (messages 1242, 1271 in the Yahoo archive), and it has the
same result all my attempts have, namely, it sends me to the auth page.
I take it the method works for you, and so something weird is going on.
I'm running Sitescooper 3.1.2 with the command
D:\Sitescooper\sitescooper-3.1.2\sitescooper.pl -color -nofooters
-nodates -fullrefresh -mplucker -cvtargs --alt-maxwidth=400 -site
site_samples/regional_new_york/ny_times/ny_times.site. Your long URL
gets me into the NY Times just fine when I paste it into Netscape 4 or
6, and so the problem appears to be Sitescooper specific.
Somebody help!
