OK, I'll try Plucker.  I've never been shy about trying new 
codes.  (Although, if it turns out to be good, I'll be kicking myself for 
registering iSilo! ;)  Yes, the format is still proprietary.  They get a 
bit more compression and I do like the interface better than that *other* 
reader and it's system.

Thanks!  I didn't think AvantGo was a bad program, but I have never liked 
systems that hide so much from me.  I also did not like the way I couldn't 
tell what I had already read and I've had enough M$-like bloat to last the 
rest of my life.  (<religious mode> The only reason I'm running Win2K here 
is because a numerical model I use doesn't run under linux. <bummer>  Linux 
is my OS of choice and that's all I use at the office.  </religious mode>)
