Hi Anthony --

I think that singleton code is broken, and effectively screws up scooping
with a cache.  I really need to fix it, by backing it out and replacing
with what was there previously, but haven't had a chance to do this in
quite a while :(

If you're interested in trying, basically take a look at the CVS history
at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/sitescooper and try
going back through the diffs until it works.  Otherwise, I'll add it
to my to-do list and try to get around to it!
