Struck a few snags trying to scoop a couple of websites, hoping someone here can help me!
BTW, I've create a "portal" for my hometown in New Zealand (Christchurch) using sitescooper to grab relevent content for downloading to your Palm/Pocket PC device. The "Christchurch Portal" is located at http://www.planetnz.com/palmheads/portals/chchportal.php The first site I'm having trouble with is this: http://www.artfilms.co.nz/cloisters/whatson.cfm As you'll see its a pretty basic page, so basically I just wanted to scoop everything with this site file: # Cloisters coverted to doc format using sitescooper # # URL: http://www.artfilms.co.nz/cloisters/whatson.cfm Name: Cloisters Levels: 1 StoryStart: What's On StoryEnd: Censor's Classifications Unfortunately it ends up grabbing none of the content in between my StoryStart & StoryEnd tags! I've got a feeling its got something to do with the fact that the content on the site seems to have heavy inline style sheet use, but not sure how that would effect how sitescooper does its business. The other site I'm having trouble with is this one: http://www.whatson.org/restaurants.htm The problem here is alot of the restaurant links goto URL's like this: http://www.whatson.org/dining/category/restaurants1.htm#A La Carte I'm not sure then how the StoryURL code should look. I tried whats below with no luck. URL: http://www.whatson.org/restaurants.htm Name: whatson Restaurants Levels: 2 ContentsStart: Christchurch restaurants ContentsEnd: Special Offers StoryStart: Christchurch restaurants StoryEnd: Home StoryURL: http://www.whatson.org/dining/category/.*\.htm Any help here would be most appreciated! cheers Daryn Daryn Hanright E-Mail : [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Sitescooper-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sitescooper-talk
