The creative exuberance of the '60s and '70s extended beyond pop
culture into the more serious realm of changing the world, as
envisioned in a raft of radical political journals springing up
around the country. Definitely lefty but far from monolithic, this
retrospective at revolution-themed bookstore Babylon Falling features
local favorites the Berkeley Barb, the Berkeley Tribe and the Black
Panther Party Newspaper, as well as national stalwarts like the
Realist, the Catholic Worker and the East Village Other.

Noon-9 p.m. Tues.-Sat. Through March 11. Babylon Falling, 1017 Bush
St., S.F. (415) 345-1017. www.babylonfalling.com.
