Bob~ The last line on the attached is only PART of the story! The rest involves
the temendous "nap times" the overgrown babes in arms require. I can't say for
sure how long it has been "nap time" but I do know for sure it has been going
on all my life so far and it looks like now we are at that point when the bough
breaks! ~Hal~

Our young men are supposedly over in Afghanistan 'Fighting for our Freedom',
'eh?  Right! I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I will sell you, too!

As much as I hate to express it this way, Americans are a bunch of ignorant
fools when they allow their leaders to take advantage of them such as in using
the American Military and Intelligence Services to feather their own nests.
Even worse yet, is when Americans cheerfully 'volunteer' their sons/daughters
to 'the cause', freely offering and giving their lives to enrich these
bastards. The whole situation runs through my mind every time Americans of good
conscience and in good faith stand and sing patriotic songs because it sends
the wrong message to those who would use them for their own self-serving
purposes. It confirms that their leaders can count on leading them over the
cliff.

If it never occurred to anyone reading this, there have been situations in war
theaters where leaders such as we have today who would lead us unjustifiably
into life-threatening situations for personal gain have been shot in the back
of the head for the sake of saving those followers who would otherwise die for
the sake of the leader's folly or personal gain. Such is the lot of leaders who
fail to keep the interests of those whom they lead in mind. In years past, it
was the free will of the American fighting man that often won battles because
Americans were able to fall into leadership positions when necessity and duty
called, even to the point of culling rotten leaders from the pack. This
principle should ever remain embedded in the mind of all Americans. It is the
same principle found in the Second Amendment's 'Right to Keep and Bear Arms' .
That principle engenders RESPECT for one's fellow man. May it never die!
