At first, It’s my project depends on utmps service, I search the web and ask the mail list, there is no available rpm packages for utmps. I think I can build it and share it to others. So I start this venture.
My initial goal is simple: get utmps works for my project and share it to the community. It has been 2 weeks since I start this work, with the help from Laurent and Guillaume, Hoël, Peter, (I can’t list all the name)., S6 related rpm package for skalibs, execlineb (not perfect), s6(only file trigger need to check) is done. As I know more about s6, I realize that s6-rc is also important for the community. That can be added to the list. When s6-rc is down, we can add other software to the list. Oh, utmps is still my first priority. At some stage, we can built a Yum/Dnf repository for the rpm packages. Without your help, I can’t do it alone. Any suggection? Wang
