I'm having trouble properly drawing keyboard focus. The docs of course are almost non-existent on this point. The trouble is that it's often not refreshed but just drawn over. And as it is transparent, this means it gets thicker. The problem appears for example if a line well in the notes pref pane has the keyboard focus and you drag from it.
So when should this be drawn, and when does it need to be updated by the view itself?
