I added a feature where Skim can remember the password of encrypted PDFs in the Keychain. It saves the password under the file ID of the PDF file (which is usually included in the data of the PDF). I wonder if this is really the best way to do this. It adds a keychain item for every protected PDF. Is that smart? Or should we somehow save a master password in the Keychain and use that to read an encrypted password database somewhere? (though I wouldn't know how to do that).
