Yeah, it's pretty annoying, and I haven't been able to fix it. There's even more fun if you link against the 10.5 SDK, since you won't be able to open files. Due to changes in the linker, you also can't have ppc-only libpng/libtiff/libjpeg in /usr/local if you compile against 10.4u SDK. Those combined issues have caused me significant frustration with BD and Skim. I just repartioned my drive and installed the GM, but haven't restored my users partition yet.
