I like a find panel better, because you can move it around the
screen. I find bottom-placed search fields and other UI elements
highly counter intuitive, for instance, as in Vienna's "toolbar"
which appears at the bottom of the screen, or Camino's search field
for bookmarks. This is just my opinion, of course. It looks like I
have had experiences similar to Derick's.
