There might be a similar problem with the Selection Tool on rotated plots. The highlighted area on the screen corresponds to where I click and drag whether the page has been rotated or not, but the results vary.
(What ever happened to the old Clipboard Contents window from pre-OS X days?) I use iClip. After a selection is taken from a page, it appears correctly in iClip if the page was not rotated, but the iClip image is incorrect if the page was rotated. These results are confirmed when pasting e.g. into Pages or TextEdit but not Intaglio wherein the entire page is shown, not the clipped part. (I've already sent a note to them.)
