I have had multiple dock icons recently as well but I have only
noticed it when right-clicking and using Open with... My working
theory was that, since I have a backup volume mounted with a
duplicate copy of Skim on it, one instance was using the copy on my
main HD & the other was using the copy on the backup HD. I haven't
really bothered investigating though since it hasn't been a huge
annoyance.
Do other users experiencing the multiple dock icon issue have backups
mounted with copies of Skim on them?
