Hi, I am using Version 1.0RC2 (v17) on OS X 10.4 (Tiger), and I am using the remote that came with my MacBook. Skim does not seem to react to the remote at all.
Debugging: I tried "defaults write -app Skim SKEnableAppleRemote -boolean True" and it had no effect. Neither does the value of SKAppleRemoteSwitchIndicationTimeout have any effect (pressing Menu on the remote brings up Front Row anyway). (Other preferences, like SKActivateFullScreenNavigationAtBottom, do have an effect, so it's only remote-control that is broken?)
