are these commands available in Preview 3.0.9, or only in Leopard Preview? Maybe it's time for that next upgrade...

In case you haven't come across this...you can drag PDF files into Preview's thumbnail sidebar to insert them into an existing PDF, you can reorder pages in a PDF by dragging them around in the sidebar, and you can delete pages by selecting them in the sidebar and using the "Delete Selected Page" command from the Edit menu.
