There is a possibility using Caps Lock. However this is not a good idea to
do by default, because it is a sticky key, and people often have it on by
accident. So users would get confused and will complain they cannot select
notes anymore (you can be sure about that). In the next release this will be
a hidden feauture that can be turned on using a hidden preference (se the
Wiki for hidden prefs).
