For some reason, Skim is listed several times in my "Open With" list
of applications in the contextual menu when I right-click on a PDF. I
know that OS X does not update this list often, so it gets messy, but
I have tried deleting my com.apple.LaunchServices.plist file to force
it to "reset" and, while this did clean it up in general, Skim is
still listed in the "Open With" menu four times!!
I thought that this might have something to do with the way Skim
updates itself (maybe I have updated to newer versions 3 times
recently, I don't really remember); perhaps it gets added to the list
each time. This is just a guess, really...the best explanation I could
come up with on my own with my limited knowledge on the subject.
Any help would be appreciated.
