One day, someone who is really really interested in doing so could extend Skim so that it could use Poppler: http://poppler.freedesktop.org/ along with (or instead of?) PDFKit. That would go a long way to making it cross platform. Note that this is what the TuG guys have done with TeXWorks, which is a cross-platform TeX editor based on the OS/X TeXShop. (both TeXWorks and TeXShop have an embedded PDF viewer, which makes them standout and lets them be multiplatform) http://www.tug.org/texworks/ --Ted -- Ted Pavlic <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Skim-app-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/skim-app-users
