The crash has something to do with accessibility. We do some hacking there, because Apple has included a very incomplete implementation, OTHm the crash is happening in Apple's implementation. And we already do this since 1.1.5. My guess is that it's an Apple bug, especially as it happens on Tiger (PDFKit on Tiger is very buggy).
Do you have accessibility turned on (in the Universal Access system preferences), and do you have some kind of accessibility device on (like a screen reader)?
