You can add them in the system preferences.

No, it's a bad UI design to do this automatically.

Of course you're always free to download the source code and change it  
yourself.

Also, with the latest release you can add setup bookmarks, that  
remember the full setup. Hold down Option and Shift to see the menu  
item in the Bookmarks menu.
