Yes, I've tried others. The conversion engines work from the command line. Also, TeXShop has no problem opening the DVI and converting it. When I got 1.2.2, I noticed (via RCDefaultApp) that Leopard no longer automatically made Skim the default viewer for DVI's, whereas in the past, Leopard *always* assumed this, even putting Skim ahead of TeXShop in its list of preferred apps. In fact, once I installed 1.2.2, Leopard wouldn't even recognize Skim as a "recommended" application for opening DVIs; I had switch to "all applications" in RCDefaultApp to force Leopard to associate Skim with DVI. It now complies and attempts to open DVI's with Skim; Skim gets cranky and claims it can't open DVIs. Did something change in info.plist to cause app associations to go crazy? -epicurus ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
