Hello, Skim is the best, and the auto-crop feature is a huge part of that, to read on-screen or to print several pages as one. Thanks a lot for it !
Is there a way to tell Skim, when cropping in the "crop all pages to a common size automatically", to ignore the first page of the PDF file ? Typically on arXiv papers the first page is wider because of the arXiv stamp, and e.g. projecteuclid puts a cover-page of different dimensions. OTOH for most PDF files where the usual auto-crop works, auto-cropping from page 2 on would work just as well. Maybe a hidden preference to tell auto-crop to start at page 2 ? Or something like Cmd-Alt-Ctrl-K ? [ Certainly not a new menu-item, not worthy enough ... ] Sorry if that is hidden in the doc already !
