It's very simple, actually. In a PDF file that was created from a text-editor by Print / PDF / Save as PDF, I click on "Add New Line" icon in the toolbar. A line appears. I right-click on the line, a menu pops up and I select "Note line...". The "Lines" setup window appears. I click on the dashed rectangle, then directly below in Dash Pattern: I enter say, 2 2, then when I "Tab" out of the input box, up comes that error message. That's it; that's all!
