Hi- I've been experimenting with doing text annotation in Preview (and on my iPhone using Aji Annotate), then converting it using the File->Convert Notes function. It appears that text annotations are properly imported, but not highlights; although the highlighting appears normally in the PDF, the text highlighted does not appear in the Notes pane (in the pane, the note is blank rather than containing the text in the highlight, as it normally does when the highlight is done in Skim). Similarly, it does not appear in BibDesk. Is this an inherent limitation of the Convert Notes function, or can this be improved?
