I just wanted to quickly weigh in on the discussion RE what developers give up
as they contribute.

I can't quickly follow all the ins an outs of the discussion, but it sounds
like someone has tried to unscrupulously capitalize on the hard work of the
Skim developers without rendering proper intellectual credit.

As an Architect, I run into this problem on a regular basis.
Since I am reporting a loss on my tax return for several years running, I am
feeling anxious.
But I honestly believe my outlook on the built environment is one that will
find wide appeal in the very near future, as a matter of necessity, so I'm
staying the course.

I just want to say, the developers of the Skim app have weaned me off of Adobe
and all it's unjustified cost and technical dysfunctionality.

So since you all have "paid it forward," I intend to do the same.
-for what it's worth,
If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I'll contribute as I can.

Many thanks,
