Sorry for duplicating an earlier topic; yet I failed to find the way to
make the Autosave function work (in Snow Leopard, latest version 1.3.20).
Following the info on the Hidden Wiki, in Terminal, I type "defaults write
-app Skim SKAutosaveInterval float,10" which is accepted as a command. But
then, nothing seems to happen in Skim: the pdf is not saved (when I check
after a force quit).
I was assuming/ hoping that the pdf itself would be saved. But, not knowing
what "autosave" refers to --pdf itself or the notes files-- I also tried
whether at least .skim notes would be updated every 10 seconds if I created
them in the first place (under general preferences, I choose the relevant
option). Yet, they do not seem to get updated either.
Could you inform me as to what I am doing wrong? Many thanks!
