I have downloaded Skim and everything was working fine until the last OS X update (El Capitán 10.11.1). Now I have the same problem with the freehand tool and as soon as I lift the pen everything I draw it disappears. I can confirm this is not a problem with Skim but with the Operating System because other tools that I have downloaded to draw over PDF have the same problem.
