Hi, all,

Using BibDesk 1.6.5 (3713) on OS X 10.10.5: opening a .bib file that has been
created on 10.6.8, I get an alert telling me that the file contains fields that
are deprecated, and can be converted. I click the “Verify” button, and get a
window with a “convert” button. Clicking that goes through some machinations
and completes.

This happens every time I open the file; and today, I read the associated help
page. It appears that the “convert” operation changes the file, but I did not
realize this, because the “dirty file” button on the .bib window is not set. I
saved the file this time, and the file can now be opened with no alert.

Should that red button be “set” to indicate that saving is warranted?

Thanks!

Justin
