Hi,

I remember there was a thread about this problem back in Sierra and El Capitán.
It was solved (via a workaround, I seem to recall) but I just upgraded to High
Sierra and the jump is back :(

I’m using Skim 1.4.29 under Mac OS X 10.13 (17A365). I’m using Skim as I
typically do: compiling LaTeX source to PDF (in Aquamacs) and Skim open (in
single page continuous mode and set to automatically resize) and listening on
the PDF file for changes and reloading when it detects any. Whenever it
reloads now, it jumps to the top of the page.

Cheers,
        José
