Bummer. I was afraid of that.

When I tried Preview and Acrobat (Pro 2017) just now, I realize they don’t do 
this as well as I remembered, either. Bummer^2

Seems like a good feature to restore. What I want it for is to compare the 
overall content of papers on a particular theme. Skimming for highlighted 
keywords would be very helpful. It would be awesome if it worked even in 
Overview view, so I could judge the whole document at once.
